One way to provide prebiotics is to eat the right food. Imagine the good bacteria in your gut love bananas, you eating bananas will give them their right food. Instead, the bad bacteria love processed food, say, potato chips, you eating potato chips will get the bad guys (bad bacteria) fuels to fight the good guys (good bacteria). So eating more banana and less potato chips will be good for colon health, and vice versa.
